The Badlands Ox represents A revolution in External Frame technology. The New Badlands Recurve aluminum frame system is shaped to offer a superior center of gravity, be ultra lightweight. 1.lb 9 Ounces (frame only) and allows you to carry what could only be considered insane loads. The Badlands Ox frame consists of T-6 aircraft grade aluminum, has a built in meat shelf, and quick access gun scabbard. It also has zero welds, allowing it to be disassembled, pretty cool if you're traveling or just want to hide it from your buddies. The OX external frame pack comes in Medium or Large size frame.
How do I know what size Badlands Ox frame fits me? Well as a general rule, 5'11" or shorter and 34" waist or smaller, order Medium. If you are over 5" 11" or over 34" waist, order the Large.

The Ox is a mighty pack man, this thing carries weight better than any hunting pack I have tried here in Alaska. Most external pack frames are for packing meat only because most are squeaky and noisy, not the Ox...External frames take on a whole new technology here. Because its quiet, I use it to hunt and can now pack one hell of a load back to the truck if I harvest. Then I can remove the pack to haul the rest of my meat and horns.
