Inspired by someone, we're not sure who and nobody cares, so this package combines the new 2010 Eberlestock X2 along with the A2SS Scoped Rifle Scabbard for carrying your favorite rifle.  This sweet package also includes the 2Liter military grade hydration bladder from Source Hydration.

This is a perfect combination for the rifle, shotgun, or muzzleloader hunter heading out for the day.  You will appreciate the ability to get that long gun out of your hands while you're hiking in early in the morning, or hiking out after dark with your trophy.  The best part about this modular pack system, don't need the scabbard, take it off and leave it behind, no problem.  The X2 has 2300 cubic inches of carrying capacity, multiple packets for all your gear, and an external tubular frame that you won't even know is there.  With 2 horizontal and 2 vertical external compression straps, you can lash on even more gear than you probably want to carry, or haul out a quarter from that bull elk you just knocked down.  This pack has some serious style with design and functionality to match...its one of my favorites.  Don't forget to add the optional ARCG Butt Bucket bow carrier to complete your modular system.

  1. Excellent Pack/combo

Posted by Roy on 3rd Nov 2010

I bought this pack from Chad (Linton) just before my hunt. What a great decision that was. I started off opening morning before the sun came up going up the mountain with my rifle in the scoped scabbard that I bought with it. It is really nice being able to hike the steep brushy terrain in the dark while being able to use both hands. I got my 6 point Bull that opening morning. The pack was used to carry the head and horns on the first trip, I used 3 buckles to lash it onto the pack and it was solid. The next trips packed the quarters and 4 buckles were used to lash each of them on solid. Each hind quarter weighed just over 70lbs and the pack performed excellent. This little light weight pack packed out a lot of weight and it was VERY comfortable and EASY to use. I continued hiking the hills while trying to get the other guys into elk for 4 days with the pack on my back all day long and it was great. Love the Eberlestock X2 pack with hydration and scabbard option. There are other great packs on the market, but this pack is so light it's like a day pack until you need it. Worth every penny!
