The First Lite Sanctuary Insulated Jacket is the cold weather component of the First Lite Layering Kit. Designed to be dead quiet and hotter than July, the Sanctuary is the very best for static, still hunting situations.
Purpose-built for bitter cold days in the tree stand, the First Lite Sanctuary Insulated Jacket is the cold weather component of the First Lite Layering Kit. With a proprietary combination of seven layers of fabric and insulation carefully positioned to maximize warmth, this thing is an oven. Just as important, this is the quietest outerwear piece in the arsenal and utilizes our shooters cut, allowing you to draw your weapon accurately and uninhibited. With the Sanctuary, you will be able to Stay Longer in your stand on those days when others are heading for home.

My disclaimer: I've only had to wear this jacket once while hunting since making this purchase. That said, as of right now I'm loving this jacket. Very warm yet quiet. Fantastic camo design. Cool features and plenty of pockets for what I normally carry.
I couldn't be happier...well maybe a little happier if it had some kind of built in deer magnet. All jokes aside, this is the nicest hunting jacket I've ever owned.

Hands down my best investment in regards to hunting gear. Kept me warm and toasty through the northern Michigan late season. Great quality jacket. Sizing is a bit large (first lite explains this in the jacket description on their website). I normally wear a large, but sized down to a medium and am glad I did. Perfect fit, even with layering. I'm 5'11" and 185lbs.

nice jacket real soft and quite could use a few more pockets.,, on the sleeves ,and the side . I carry a light , wind detector and other things like ammo and bow release so not to happy about that but it keeps you warm so that s the best result

The overall quality of work was pretty good as can be expected from a quality manufacturer like First Lite.
My biggest complaint was the fact that it didn't seem to have that first lite "shooters cut" when you put it on, raise your arms like you are drawing your bow and you will see the hem of the parka raises quite a bit for "technical apparel"
Also, when you're at full draw, the chest area of the jacket puffs out a large bulge. While this did not interfere with the shots I took while testing the garment, with a MSRP of $350 that is totally unacceptable. I am sure First Lite will correct these tailoring issues like they did with the original Kanabs but until then, buyer beware.
I sold this to my Brother In Law and bought a Sitka Fanatic jacket instead. Much better tailoring and features in my opinion.
While I don't think you can really "go wrong" with this jacket... I do recommend you try other brands of outer wear on before plunking down this amount of cash.
As for me: First Lite Merino under Sitka Fanatic. It works for me in the Whitetail woods.
