Product Description

NEW First Lite Wool Kanab 2.0 Pant.  The cornerstone of the best selling First Lite pant of all time, the First Lite Kanab is simply the ultimate lightweight hunting pant. The Kanab is designed to be the go-to hunting pant for the active hunter who earns his elevation and hunts without compromise. It can be worn with our Allegheny EXP's in single digits, our regular Allegheny full length bottoms when it is 30 degrees or with our Red Desert boxer shorts when it is 90 and sunny. The Kanab is made out of 100% Merino wool with rip-stop to add durability which means it's deadly quiet, doesn't collect burrs, doesn't hold bacteria and odor and retains more than 80% of it's insulating properties when soaking wet. And because all of these qualities are inherent to Merino, the Kanab will perform just as well on day 200 as the day you take it off the rack.

First Lite has redesigned the Kanab 2.0 to be even better with added durable stretch fabric in the crotch and rear panels to allow for greater durability, improved freedom of movement and updated styling.

  • Ultrafine Merino wool with body mapped stretch nylon
  • Light/Mid weight woven rip stop fabric
  • Breathable, silent with no shine or UV signature
  • Worn with included suspenders or belt (not included)
  • Machine washable

Note: Kanabs run BIG, we recommend sizing Down IF YOU FALL AT BOTTOM OF SIZE CHART!

The Llano long sleeve crew is the ultimate first layer shirt for any hunting situation. Inspired by whitetail hunts in the Texas hill country, this shirt can be worn just as easily on a September elk stalk in the Rocky Mountains. This shirt is your foundation for those days when it is 30 degrees at dawn, 85 at 11:00am and back down to 40 at sunset - the ultimate comfort in all situations.

  • 17.5 micron superfine Merino wool - the most comfortable wool available

  1. Comfortable in all weathers 5 Star Review

Great on their own or layered over long handles or under waders. Great pockets and great with belt or suspenders. I just had 1 pair of these and saw they were being discontinued so I feel lucky to get a couple extra pair to use well into the future. Great product.

  2. Perfect early season pants. 5 Star Review

Only had a chance to wear these once while putting out a few trail cams to see how the fawn population is doing. Started out on a 53 degree morning that quickly warmed up to 82 degrees by 2 o'clock. These pants breathe and don't become soggy or stick to you because of sweat. There is enough give in the material to alleviate any binding or pulling when you need to stretch over windfalls and rocks. Overall a nice addition to my early bow season clothing.

Fantastic pair of pants! Most I have ever spent on pants, and wished I had bought first lite Stuff years ago!! Live and learn, maybe this will help your learning curve!!

  4. Class Valedictorian. Period. 5 Star Review

I've extensively used various brands of hunting pants on numerous expeditions with not unhappy but lukewarm favorbility. Coloring, fit, feel, and durability among other various factors have contributed to my feelings regarding my use of past pants. However, the Kanab 2.0 has finally set me to a warm heart and smiles as I trek through the sage and broken timbered draws of Eastern Washington state. My expectations are met with a pant that is comfortable, tough and not overtly fancy. A true work horse piece of clothing worth of any hunter hitting the hills. Thanks First Lite!! Job well done!!

  5. comfortable light weight hunt pant. 4 Star Review

well built. nice suspenders. They are a bit lighter than expected, but they will make a good 90% pant. Definitely need further insulation on cold days.

The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is the silly metal button at the knee. It is designed to hold your pant legs up while crossing a stream. The fact is, the first time you bend down and that button leaves a painful divot in your knee cap, you will be taking out your wire pliers and cutting them off. Now there are two button holes left in my brand new pants!

Remove the button and I will give a five star rating!

  6. Very nice but expensive. 4 Star Review

Not sure why someone would need to hook the pant cuffs up to their knees but the large knobby rivets for this purpose occasionally jabbed into my knees. The suspenders are also some-what unnecessary but I did like them. A double zipper on the fly is also a mystery. If First Lite eliminated these 3 components, the cost to manufacture would go down to a more reasonable price and these pants would be perfect. I wore them on an elk hunt for 7 days straight and not because I had to. The temperature went between 26 and 65 degrees, with and without rain and I was comfortable. I might need to get another pair.

  7. Awesome Pants 5 Star Review

I bow hunt in Texas. After lots of research, I purchased a Scent-Lok wardrobe last season. The problem with the warm weather Scent-Lok is that it doesn't breathe. Plus they don't fit me great. At the recommendation of a friend, I bought these pants and love them. Very lightweight and breathable. They have suspenders and I'm not a suspenders guy, but I actually love them! Also, they fit great. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs, about a 32" waist, athletic build, and the medium fit perfectly.
