The Eberlestock Blue Widow was introduced upon the request of bow hunters who had wondered at first glance what they would do with the rifle scabbard on the J107 Dragonfly and J34 Just One packs. Most of those who used the J107 found that they like the scabbard after all, because it’s a great place to put things like arrows and grunt tubes. The Blue Widow is basically a Dragonfly with the scabbard layer removed. The main vertical pockets and utility expansion compartment are attached directly to the main frame panel. Eberlestock added a larger Flex Chassis which can fold forward for use as a seat. And because scabbards and packs go together, the Blu Widow was designed so you can add one if you need it.

I've used this pack for a year now (75+days) and it has done nothing but impress. This truly is the only pack I use here in Idaho, it can go from sub 2,000 cubic as a quick hike daypack and is perfectly comfortable for a couple hours (but no waisted trips if I shoot something), but with the same pack and the Superspike Duffel I can expand it over 7,000 cubic inches to carry absolutely everything my body will handle (150+pounds). I use the pack about half the time with a scabbard for my Weatherby (I forget its there) and the other half I use the Buttbucket for my bow (again its like its not even there). I'm 6'3" and 210 pounds and the pack will fit even bigger frames and definitely fit much smaller, down to mid 5ft.
