Kenetrek Mountain Guide 400 is a superbly built mountaineering boot for guides that are extremely tough on their boots or those that routinely travel in brutally rugged terrain.  The Kenetrek Mountain Guide has many of the features of our very popular Mountain Extreme boots with the additions of a stiffer midsole combined with the fully crampon compatable Vibram Vertige outsole.  The leather uppers are a full 3.2 mm leather protected with a coating of Polyurethane in a process similar to the coating sprayed in the bed of a pickup truck.  This provides extra durability and moisture protection.  the same waterproof and breathable Windtex membrane and 400 grams of Thinsulate insulation keep you warm and dry no matter what the weather is like.  Even with all of this support and durability, the Kenetrek Mountain Guide will still surprise you with a level of comfort unavailable...until now!  Made in Italy.

Features of the Kenetrek Mountain Boots

• Super Thick Full Grain Leather Uppers - Kenetrek Mountain Boots have 2.8 mm thick premium full grain leather uppers utilizing a one piece vamp construction with no seams down the tongue. This increases abrasion resistance and makes the boots even more waterproof!
• Extra Padded Soft Leather Collars - The extra padding in these collars along with the flex-notch design makes the Mountain Boots more comfortable than any other mountain boots out there.
• Heavy Duty Midsoles - Full length 7 mm Nylon midsoles with steel shanks provide extra support in uneven terrain.
