Sitka Stratus Jacket Elevated II Camo

The Stratus Jacket is part of Sitkas most versatile Whitetail System. A GORE® WINDSTOPPER® membrane is sandwiched between a wet-printed Micro-Fleece shell and a micro grid fleece backer creates an ultra-quiet 100% windproof jacket. On its own, the Stratus can take you well into the mid-season and since it’s fitted to layer underneath, you can make it your go-to shell well into November.

    I am 6'0" tall / 190lbs athletic build. I typically wear size Medium; however, I went a size up due to some of the reviews and wanting to be able to layer underneath. The size Large leaves room for layers, and is still a good fit on it's own.

    Linton Outdoors was fantastic as well. Received it 3 days after placing the order! I've been impressed by their service!

    When I first received the Jacket I quickly noticed the quality it was top of the line. I love how the jacket fits! With other jackets I have had problems with the sleeves being baggy and loose, but this jacket does have an athletic cut, snug to the body with room to layer. I read on other post to get a size up, I am a 38 chest so I bought the med 39-41 inch chest. This weekend I will be testing it out in cooler temperatures in the low 40's, high 30's so I can't wait. Only thing I wish is more money to spend since each garment is pricey. Also it would be nice if the jacket was just a little longer in my preference. Overall the jacket is great.

    I have just come back from a Kodak Brown Bear Hunt where I wore my sitka gear. The only mistake was that I used the light rain jacket as a wind blocker. It did not work and no matter how much I had underneath, I would get chilled in the wind. This jacket will be just right with just the right amount of insulation and wind protection needed to go with the base layers. Now being in South Texas in May where the temp is already in the 90's, I will not be able to really test it until next November. I am impressed with the quality, construction, and utility of the jacket. I got the bear. Bob
